Rehabilitation

Returning the boys home

Since 2006 we have successfully returned 11 boys to their families. For seven of these boys, before they could go home, we had to build houses for their families, because they were living in hovels. Each simple, concrete, three roomed house costs £5,000 to construct. RoH maintains contact with these boys and continues to fund their education.

RoH has also provided funding to set up the head of the household with a small income generating business, for example rearing goats, selling charcoal, etc, with the aim of helping the family become self-sufficient.
