HOPE HOUSE 1
Honda first discovered this house when it was in need of drastic repair. Rent was agreed and the house was made habitable within one week - when the first boys moved in! The house is shared by Amie who oversees the house ensuring the boys are well cared for. With this foundation, the boys are introduced to school and learn about family - caring and sharing with one another as brothers.

HOPE HOUSE 2
Opened in October 2005, the second Hope House is situated in Kanyosha, a desperately poor area of the capital Bujumbura. This house is home to 9 boys under the care and supervision of Jean, a local man.

KANYOSHA BOYS

They go to school every weekday and are taken to Church on Sundays, learning to live in an environment that actively demonstrates the love of God.

SCHOOL
With no schooling in some areas of the city, in the future Restoration of Hope will look to purchase land and build a school to educate some of the many children who do not have any education within Burundi.
