Hope House One

Honda first discovered this house when it was in need of drastic repair. Rent was agreed and the house was made habitable within one week - when the first boys moved in! The house is shared by Amie who oversees the house ensuring the boys are well cared for. With this foundation, the boys are introduced to school and learn about family - caring and sharing with one another as brothers. Hope House One is home to 16 boys

Hope House Two

Opened in October 2005, the second Hope House is situated in Kanyosha, a desperately poor area of the capital Bujumbura. This house is home to 17 boys under the care and supervision of Jean, a local man.
